I think these will help US to build peace and minimize worry about terrorism (although it’s inevitable because of what Pres. Bush had done) but I think Obama will have a chance to make peace with Iraq.

But I am giving Obama a chance to let him show what good he can do for the Country. It’ll be hard for him to do all these stuff. I think he will not be able to do all of these BECAUSE OF THE GLOBAL CRISIS.

Obama is not in favor of "no more bailouts for banks" and "outlawing hate crimes" and "no expansion of troops in Afghanistan" or even "ending trade policies." Many Republicans and libertarians would agree with some of the proposals in that list.
You need to try to honestly evaluate which of these proposals are good and which aren’t before making false blanket statements and trying to relate them to Obama.

Let me respond to the one that affects me on a daily basis- mortgages. Obama wants to give bankruptcy judges full discretion on reducing the amount of principal & interest on the mortgage for those who file bankruptcy. Therefore basically he is stating that a contract in the U.S. means nothing anymore. Who out there thinks that my company (or any other mortgage company) is going to give mortgage loans when we know that all you have to do is file bankruptcy & we don’t get the amount you contracted for? This will shut down your everyday mortgage companies for good. Most (including mine) mortgage companies sell their mortgages to Fannie/Freddie or to HUD however, Fannie/Freddie & Hud do not originate, process or underwrite these loans. The mortgage companies do. So I guess the government will be the new mortgage company- the only one…. I’m sure that rates will skyrocket to compensate for all the bankruptcy losses- people won’t be able to get cash out to do improvements- homes will deteriorate without easily available home equity loans. It flat out amazes me that people don’t see this! I know that the mortgage business has a terrible reputation right now- but there are still some good ones, who refused to do the sub prime stuff- this is going to hurt the folks who have good credit, income & have been responsible. Too bad we elected someone who has never run a business before!

In my estimation there are some good points and some ignorant ones.
Good: 1.3, no bail out for the banks.
1.6, Assist local governments. This is actually Constitutional.
1.5, WIC for expectant and new mothers is good as long as it is by the guidelines.

3.2, Outlaw hate crimes, and this even means against all hate crimes not just against certain races.
4.2, Care for returning soldiers, this should be a given.
These could be good for some: 1.1, mortgages but only for those willing to work, not for free loaders.
2.1, Public works could be done by those who are serving time for crimes, thus stopping the free loading they do. Go to jail, you work for your keep.
2.3, We could use better schools and teachers who teach instead of baby sitters.
2.4, Alternative energy is a good thing as long as it does not become another cash cow for the rich only.
2.9, Goes along with 2.3, Better teaching from true sources instead of the poppycock someone makes up because it sounds better.
Public housing, only for the working poor, ill and elderly, not for drug addicts and welfare mothers who have a kid every year so they don’t lose their benefits.
The only problem is even if this is set up in this manner there are those that will be selling drugs from the back door while their wives are selling themselves in the bedroom and the kids are out stealing and making the drugs to sell.
Once they get caught they should be shot to save the county, city and country the cost of a trial.
Hang ‘em high. Hanging deters crime. Them what get hung commit no more crimes!
